Morning Star by Pierce Brown review

I haven't had a book affect me like this in a very long time, probably not since the last book of The Daughter of Smoke and Bone series, and I can't even remember the last time I ugly cried before this one  over a fictional character (you know, the whole silently gasping for air kind of cry that makes you have the facial expressions of someone who's eaten way too much Taco Bell the day before).
I can't even begin to fathom how Mr. Brown came up with all the twists and turns in this book.  Most of the time I'm pretty good at guessing which twists could possibly come up but I had to re-read pages quite a few times in this one, not because I wasn't paying attention as I was fully engrossed, but because I was like "Wait a minute, what the heck just happened?".
I can't say enough good things about this series, and it deserves all the attention it's been given on different book sites plus so much more.  I have to say that this one may have replaced Daughter of Smoke and Bone for me as my favorite series after the ending I just read.  I love it!!!
